To decline the timesheet submitted:
- Click ‘View” to view the timesheet details.
- Enter your reason for declining the timesheet through the comment textbox. This will be shown in the email sent to the requestor and is accessible when viewing the timesheet.
- Select ‘Staff’ from the user dropdown menu. This is the person that you want to send this question or comment to.
- Click ‘Decline’ to approve the timesheet.
Declining Timesheet means the information in the timesheet (i.e. the hours worked) is not authorized for payroll processing. The requestor needs to amend the timesheet before re-submitting the timesheet (see Editing Timesheet).
